Billing

Introduction

All payment, billing, and subscription information is handled from the Billing dashboard.

2-Week Free Trial

For every new account, there is a 2-week free trial. While payment information is required to start the trial, if the subscription is cancelled in the first 2 weeks, the account will not be charged. At the end of the 2 weeks, the subscription will start and the yearly amount will be charged.

Subscription Length

The length of the subscription is 1 year.

Renewal

A subscription is set to auto-renew by default, but this can be disabled at any time. If a subscription’s auto-renewal is cancelled, the account will stay active until the date of renewal, which is when the account is deactivated.

Subscription Details

The subscription details are found in this section. The monthly billing tier your organization falls in is determined by the number of tests used that month. The billing tier determines whether you are charged an additional monthly amount and how much. Every new month, the number of submissions goes back to 0 and the billing tier resets back to beginner (no charge). Details on billing tiers are found here: billing

Billing History

This section shows a history of all the times the account was billed with the transaction ID, date, amount, plan tier, and card used.

Monthly Invoices

Monthly invoices are sent on the first of every month for the previous month. Invoices must be paid within 2 weeks of the invoice’s creation date or the service will be suspended. This means the account will be locked and Quick Checks disabled. Upon a late invoice’s payment, the account will be unlocked, but the Quick Checks will be disabled and must be re-enabled manually. If there is an invoice created due to a higher monthly tier, the email address of the user who created the account (billing email) will get an email asking for payment. Payment instructions will be contained within the email. Payments are made using Helcim, our payment processor. The Helcim payment portal is easy to access through the link on the billing page. Here payments can be made and billing methods updated or changed.

Reactivating Your Subscription

If the account’s subscription is cancelled, it can be automatically reactivated by pressing the Enable Auto Renewal button.
