Introduction

The Collection Creator is the place to create your own test collections. Anyone can create collections at any time. This feature is always free.

Collection Metadata & Settings

Collection_Creator_Full_Page Along the right is where the collection is named, a description added and labels can be applied. These are publicly facing in the marketplace. Labels allow collections to be searched faster on the marketplace. You must check “Add to Marketplace” to put the collection on the marketplace and allow others to use it. If you add to the Collection Library, it will show up there so that it can be assigned to Quick Checks. The library is available in all Quick Check rule configurations and private to your organization. Making a collection anonymous will not show the company name which created the collection. You can also load your previously created collections to edit them by clicking the drop-down called “Choose Collection”. Collections can be saved or cleared or copies of collections made using the buttons at the bottom.
Remember to Save your Collection! Collections are not auto saved.

How to Create Tests

Collections contain groups of tests. Each group has one image assigned to it but multiple tests can be created from that one image in that group. Naming groups is optional. Groups can be deleted, and deleting a group also deletes all its tests. Once a group has been created, click the “Create Now” button to upload an image to use for that group’s tests.

Upload An Image

An image can be uploaded from a local source or searched and selected for free online. Collection_Creator_Editor

Test Editor

The test editor allows the user to draw on the image with the mouse. Tests must have at least 1 enclosed area drawn on the image which the user must click the inside of. The Instructions field is the hint given to the user so that they can click the right place on the image. A Title is optional and is for internal purposes only. If there is an enclosed section and instruction text (less than 200 characters), then the test can be saved. After saving a test, the test editor becomes blank except for the image so that a new test can be created quickly with that same image.
A test collection must have 80+ tests before it can be added to the Collection Marketplace and used.

Image Modification Buttons

  1. Change Color of Lines - The lines drawn over the image can be red, blue, green, yellow, white and black.
  2. Undo - This removes the last line drawn on the image.
  3. Grid - Show a grid over the image or click again to remove the grid. This doesn’t show in the Quick Check, only during test creation.
  4. Rotate Image - Rotate the image 90 degrees with every button press.
  5. Fit to Size - Fit the image to the size of the Quick Check test space available to the Quick Check test. This can be helpful when the image is not the same ratio as the Quick Check test space.
  6. Fill Background - This restores the image to its original ratio filling the excess space around the image in the Quick Check test space with the color white.
